Once Orbitlink has an approved application for service, Orbitlink will dispatch a technician to perform the installation within (2) two weeks. The technician will install the outdoor transmit and receive equipment, dish and run up to 10m. (see installation) of cable from the outdoor equipment to the indoor equipment, making a professional penetration of the building exterior if necessary. The technician will install and adjust the dish and outdoor equipment to obtain the best possible satellite connection. The technician will install the satellite send & receive modems and the MIG (Multi User Internet Gateway) and connect it to your hub or PC. It is highly advisable for the customer to have the individual who normally maintains the computers or network to be present at the time of the installation. Support is available at that time to assist and train this individual. Orbitlink will configure one workstation on the customers network to connect to the internet, and provide information on how to configure the additional workstations. For an extra charge, Orbitlink can perform the full configuration if such employee is absent or unavailable. This service must be arranged in advance of installation.
